Cookies are small text files sent from a web server to your browser where they are stored. There are two types of cookies: “session” cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, and “permanent” cookies, which are stored on your computer for a longer time.
If you do not want to accept cookies, you can set your browser to automatically reject the storage of cookies or to inform you every time a website asks to store a cookie. The browser can also delete previously stored cookies. See your browser’s help pages for more information. You can also manually remove cookies from your hard drive at any time.
